Thank You To Everyone That Attended Skate Night! I just wanted to thank everyone for coming and spending the evening with us and especially for all of your GENEROUS donations!! I was quite surprised by the amount of school supplies we received. I thought I'd give you a quick sum so you can relay it to your troops! It may help show that with a little effort from everyone you CAN make a difference and help in your community. AND you can add community service into many fun activities and everybody wins! |

WOW! And I for one had a good time doing it! You guys are great! These are all things that can really help a child or even an entire classroom get through the year. We may donate to several projects considering the amount and variety of things we received. Check the next newsletter to see the final destination of our supplies. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Neighborhood Food Drive! This service project shows that Girl Scouts is more than just earning badges and selling cookies...but that we also care about our community and want to do something about that. The troops participating collected a total of 2,413 pounds of food for the Clark County Food Bank. Specific results were:
